Our school program stresses individual attention and close contact between the teachers, students and parents. We believe that a small student–teacher ratio allows the opportunity for teachers to learn the individual gifts, strengths, learning styles and personality of each child. With this knowledge, teachers can minister effectively to each child’s needs and work knowledgeably with parents as they raise and teach their children.
Our daily schedule includes a circle time with Bible stories, verses and songs, indoor and outdoor activities to develop gross motor skills and perceptual motor skills, instruction and practice in playing and sharing with other children, and classroom activities that emphasize reading and math readiness.
Learning centers, art, music, science social studies, creative movement, drama and field trips all complement Central Christian School’s program.
